From 2003-2006 I was Dr. Wang’s Clinical Manager and we co-founded the Laser MedSpa at WVI. I also served Wang Foundation for Sight Restoration during that time. I was in the clinic and often in the room with foundation patients including the patient subject of this movie. While there was some creative license in the way this story was told, perhaps to make it more interesting, the facts are accurate. Dr. Wang’s life would make a fantastic series, like Grey’s Anatomy, because of all the characters that have impacted his life and he theirs. This story is about overcoming adversity. How our life can make a difference in someone else’s.
