So I did give this show a fair chance. Some incidents were truly funny and the drawing was spectacular (in my personal opinion). That’s about all I have to say for the positives. It honestly seems like a fanfic for Mindy Kaling (that she wrote for herself), everyone falls in love with Velma, looking past her terrible attitude towards everyone. While it was funny in The Office where she thought everyone liked her and was slowly slipping into madness, it just doesn’t work for this show. Velma comes off as a very rude, bigoted, arrogant, ignorant, know it all, aggressive, mean to just be mean, apathetic, cynical, jealous character. And honestly, if it wasn’t for her, the show may be somewhat more bearable to watch. The internet was not lying. I so wanted it to be wrong, but it wasn’t…😞😞
