This is by far one of the best shows on Netflix. To piggyback off previous reviews, this show has a light hearted, family based theme with many happy endings. The main character Cassie has intuitive insight, giving her family, friends & the occasional town newcomer positive feedback on their everyday struggles & hints at what they can do to overcome these challenges. She's never pushy or a know it all, which is a breath of fresh air for said self claiming individuals in the real world. Many scenes & storylines are short at best, but always lead to more questions or problems to be solved. This show has an amazing quality of keeping the viewer interested. There's tons of drama & it always seems to pull at heart strings, even in the most minor of moments which I truly love. There's no cursing, nudity or ill conceived moments in any episode. Every character has perfect screen time, although I wish Cassies daugther & Sam's son had more involvement with one another, they seem to mesh well. Grey house & Bell, Book & Candle are beautifully decorated. The town is as well with it's snowy, christmas like themes & atmosphere. The mayor was somewhat annoying as I began watching this series, but her apparent new found understanding of what it takes to lead & be the voice of the citizen's in her town shows that she is growing, her progressivism is enjoyable! What I love about this show the most is it's positive outcomes. It proves that with the right attitude & a new perspective on everyday struggles, anything can be learned or overcame. It's nice to see each character grow & learn from their mistakes. Constantly being aware of how their words & actions effects one another. This show is an accurate example of what the world could be like with more selfless acts of kindess & awareness. Whomever is writing for this show deserves many awards & accolades. In an action, sex & violence over saturated market for television currently, this stands out as a staple for it's thought provoking qualities about love, family & positivity. I recommend this show for any family, or person wanting to come home after work to a wholesome, warm hearted series. It could be rated TV-Y for all of the parents wondering. I'm currently on the start of Season 3. I can't wait to watch more! 10/10 ⭐💭💖🎑
✨EDIT✨ - After reading more reviews, there seems to be an opinion of some that this show lacks minorities & persons of color. Which I never really worried about being so caught up in the storylines. Although, it would be fair & more inclusive to include all people of today's times, I don't think this was done purposefully or in a manner that denounced or is forgetful of the make up of our world currently. Also the spotting of the main Character: Catherine Bell's botox surgeries doesn't take away from the show. I'm from a mixed background & a loving unconditionally styled family. These things don't make or break the show for me. To mention them as reasons not to watch this show is pure foolishness in my humble opinion. Lastly this show is very slow paced, with tiny bits of hyper speed when need be. I wouldn't suggest watching just one episode or two, this is a series that has to grow on you. So give it a chance to do so! 🤗❤
