Love this, my favorite movie saga EVER! But, the only thing that I’m confused about this sequel is to why they aren’t acknowledging all of the other incidents and murders as if the one of 1978 was the only one. Michael came after his sister on more than one occasion. Michael escaped multiple times and came after his niece, came after Laurie’s son, and murdered way more than dozens of people. Like where’s Laurie’s son when did she have this other daughter?!? They’re continuing the story but it’s like they left out a whole bunch of major details as well as missed connections, as if the other sequels didn’t happen…I’m just confused as to why they took this route. I can say that I do love how they made it just as suspenseful and chilling and real thrilling, bringing back that older horror movie vibe but incorporating mordern gory. I also love how they incorporated some identical scenes from the originals modernized, that was a great touch.
