Moving story, and an enjoyable read! Sam takes you through an adventure in uncovering and strengthening a foundational aspect of his identity. He describes his family history and the mix of cultures that contribute to his identity as we journey through his search to find a balance amongst the unique aspects of each part of his identity. He brings the reader on his travels through India, painting a beautiful picture of the intricacies/happenings of his trip, as well as the roller coaster of emotions in his search. I also appreciated the little plugs of humour along the way! This book was an incredible read and facilitated my own reflection on my roots and my identity, inspiring me to continue on my own journey of self-discovery.
