I hate how I was reading the Game Informer magazine and they rated this game a 7. A SEVEN, REALLY?? This game is phenomenal. When you first start to play the series from season one as Lee Everett, protecting the well-known character we all know and love today (Clementine); all the way to season 4, playing as the once sweet and innocent girl to a more mature, brave, and strong young woman (Clementine), it makes the player want to continue the story. With its cliffhangers at the end of each episode, along with solid gold decision-making for the players, this really makes the players feel like he or she is in the game emotionally and often sometimes even physically. Sure Telltale might’ve run out of business before they can finish the full season. Yet, Skybound has done an excellent job in completing the full season. Whoever did the rating must’ve not played from beginning to end because the rating for this season is unbelievable. If you actually took the time out of your day while playing this game and by paying attention to the storyline, it would seem as if the story and plot of this game are enjoyable & climatic. The story from season one towards season four all made sense and was put together very well. The voice acting for the characters was just beautiful. The choices the player gets to make throughout the gameplay are amazing and keeps the storyline going. Sure this game had its flaws and problems. The downside to all this was some missing key moments that took place in the story that were just left out for the sake of timing and the plot. Such as moments where in season one, Lee Everett mentioned his past and his family. I'm sure players would've like to know a little bit more. Especially before the outbreak. Along with all the other character's personal lives before the outbreak. Or just like how in season two, where Crista was pregnant then the game jumps to 16 months later and it seemed like she wasn't pregnant anymore(a tough subject, I know, forgive me for bringing it up, but this is just an example). Along with how players never got to fully understand what happened to her after the ambush between her and Clementine. I can go on but it stops here. There were some choices that a lot of players wished that Telltale should've changed. However, all in all, The Walking Dead: A Telltale Series, was just amazing in every way and it's amazing how Skybound completed it. Unfortunately, to the Game Informer magazine along with bad reviews from IGN, the rating was a seven. Shaking my head, suck my balls for that solid 7 review, it should've been changed to at least a solid 9.
