The Women was one of the best and I have read all of Kristin’s books. The book was. Spell binding to me I could not put it down, the detail was awesome. It matched the information that was given to me by my cousin,a Marine who did two tours, his step father, Navy lifer did two tours. His step dad suffered much worse than he did. The description in the book helped me to really appreciate the sacrifice made by all who served in a political war that we should never have been involved in. The loss of life on both sides was horrific, the number of maimed in this war was insane. I was living my teenage years and early working life when this was happening. My cousin was only 17 when he joined and served as a very young man. We the American People treated them like they were dirt under our feet, as though they had committed a crime! It was our government that should have been spit on and ignored! I have put my soap box away, thank you Kristin for a wonderful book that I will read over and over. Such a clear vision of this war.
