Average. Gory - shockingly so, and that doesn’t make up for the lackluster writing style. So many unnecessary details and convoluted, backwards-feeling sentences. Repetition. Didn’t connect with the characters or really like them. Heard lots of good things about Slaughter but wasn’t blown away at all :(
