*spoiler free*
Watched it last night on the big screen, it's not a horror at all so please do not go in expecting to be scared good. It has one or two jump scares and some backstories which don't really have anything to do with the main story at all.
Unique idea for sure but not a film I'd really recommend anyone to go and see, watch it at home yeah, spend money at the cinema - definitely no. The acting was good but my god the sister was annoying at the beginning and then her character matured towards the end but I felt the damage was done already to her character.
Left feeling like there were some pointless scenes and some that were done well, whilst some could have had more fear or scare factor involved. The film was too long for me, I think 20 to 30mins less would have been better.
By the time the credits rolled around I wasn't invested in the film and didn't care for the finale. It didn't make you more curious about the threat and having seen reviews before hand, I can confirm that 5 star reviews are generally from either Jordan fans or big fans of he actors.
Overall - a generous 6/10
