Fences is a story about every home. Every parent and what he wishes for us children to be. A father never envies his son and on every step of theur children's lives a parent puts on his personal experiences and wants his kids to come out as a btter person. At the same time it teaches us about the faults that we humans are supposed to have. No love is perfect unless there are sacrifices. Troy is fearful that his children may end up as him and thus he comes out rough on them. He makes a man out of them both and unknown to them a part of him is transferred to them. It will make u cry in the end with uncle Gabe summing him up and sending him to hood heaven. Powerful. Loved Denzel as an actor and as a director. Everyone has given his best.
