I thought the characters were so overplayed that they were either annoyingly pretentious or downright stupid. The plot was too unconvincing and easily unfolded for a murder mystery, and I don’t see how people can call it comedy. At least Gone Girl kept you interested to the end. This one was a yawn fest from the beginning.
