An absolute tour de force from Spall et all. Funny, inspiring, engaging and deeply moving all in one film! I suggest you watch it now, I'm pleased I just did.

Very pleasing to watch, occasionally funny and obviously scenery to match your wildest amazonian dreams. The haters have no imagination at all. This is a work of fiction!

As parody this is really very funny. It's not trying to be Tarantino, it's learned from what he does well and added a great script and some fantastic deadpan. It's a simple enough story (the like of which you've probably seen) told with hilarious dialogue and timing between a range of well-chosen actors. I don't understand why it isn't considered a comedy!

If rude words make you giggle then you're in luck with this film. Not because there's a lot of bad language in it but really, that's the only hope you have of this film making you laugh

It's just the same tired old poop. No plot of any consequence just lots of guns and shooting.

Absolute toss, the lot of it. At best it might be trying to preach about the dangers of plea bargaining and grassing but if that's what you want, read a book instead. The dialogue is messy and uninteresting, the plot is flawed and boring, the acting is tedious and clichéd, even the music is predictable and irritating.

Clichéd, really didn't age well, a set of uninteresting films that two reasonable actors can't save from going nowhere

Adaptation is so clever that it succeeds in making a sparkling cast appear like uninteresting portrayals of dull, wearisome characters acting out a deeply boring non-story in a tedious, dreary mess of a film. It's almost 2 hours long, please don't waste your time.

The bloke out of Harry Potter is very good at playing dead, this is the only film I've seen him in. The humour is puerile and barely even one-dimensional but it's set in some wonderful countryside and strangely entertaining for a little while. I got bored an hour in though so the ending may be life-changing, I'll never know and I really don't mind.
