It takes at least one and a half half episodes to get into, and a lot of obscene language to get past, but the characters and their developments are all very interesting and the convoluted literary language/expression of the times and the plot turns and everyone’s great acting all make it his serie very compelling entertainment.

As caught up in the story as I got, I found it hard to keep up with all the characters and their names and roles in the investigation as so much time passes. Movie made me want to read the book by the obsessed Boy Scout cartoonist.

Quirky! And intriguing. It held my attention, and never went where I expected. The soundtrack was its own separate character.

I found Woke very entertaining in that it is emotionally and intellectually stimulating along with its humor. It’s interesting how so many oppressed people are capable of invoking and applying humor over very serious overarching subject of traumatizing racism. Woke does this in sometimes very honest and therefore uncomfortable ways. along with other personal issues that everyone can identify with.

Highly Recommending this very sweet and quirky English movie with a Scrabble game theme. "Sometimes Always Never" quietly features a caravan/camper that is so tiny it added to my overall delight with this movie. The characters’ small homes as compared with cavernous American houses adds to the intimacy and sweetness of this film. It’s uniquely smart and humorous, and conveys expansive unspoken depth and strength of individuals, families, and relationships. Oft nominated and award-winning Bill Nighy was perfect for his eccentric role as repressed grieving father, as were the understated performances of the other actors for their characters.

So very realistically tragic. Hard to watch and most people at least over half probably more than 80% will never be in anything close to a similar situation so may have difficulty relating. Those who do relate will understand the seeming lack of emotion except in the moment when Main character is asked to answer questions with one of the films title words. Powerful and perfect performances. Plenty of space in the film for viewer to put themself in the character’s shoes if they dare and are capable of that kind of empathy & compassion. This is an important film for our times when more and more people in America are being denied reproductive health care services, and being disempowered by legislated denial of their personal freedom and body autonomy.

In spite of the excessive gratuitous sex (soft poem) and repetitious gore, I have to give this series highest rating because it’s so well written & acted, so intersectional, so perfect in its storytelling. It’s full of surprises, horror, intrigue, mystery, myth, and history, even some fun. It intrigues, disgusts, magnetizes, and requires full attention.

Great plot, good acting, great plot twists. Editing leaves something to be desired because at end I didn’t understand exactly what happened or how, other than yes revenge.

Not a fan of most horror movies, I had high expectations for US, but was disappointed. The music constantly indicated something horrifying was about to happen but nothing shocked or terrified or unsealed me. It had a few good laughs is about the best thing I can say about it. The twist at the end although it made the story more interesting, and made a couple of scenes more logical in retrospect, just didn’t amazem or endear. Peele did nothing to make me care about the family or their friends, didn’t care about the family so couldn’t relate Same with the Hands across America theme - pointless.
