(Spoiler Review) The Batman was okay. I think the movie got weighed down with too many narratives. It should have focused strictly on the sins of the father narrative. It didn’t need Penguin and Catwoman. Also, I didn’t like the Selina Kyle and Falcone angle. I would have also liked to see more of Bruce Wayne. He didn’t have enough screen time and wasn’t as involved with Wayne Enterprises. The Batman was an incomplete character. The fighting was hit and miss. I was have liked to see more aerial assaults, gymnastics flips and jumps, gadget capabilities, ninja techniques, and cap utilization. I liked the detective angle the movie tried to push but it fell short due to the lack of bat tech and Batman not being able to figure everything out when he needed too which had serious consequences and cost some lives. I loved the Psychological confrontation scene between Batman and Riddler, and the we are more alike than you think angle. It was gold.

If I could rate this movie 0 stars I would. This movie was terrible. The narrative didn’t come close to resembling the game in any shape or form. Chris Redfield is clueless. The only thing they got right about him is his looks and muscles. Jill is annoying. They got nothing right about her. Leon…. No comment. I honestly don’t know how to feel about him. All I can say is that my level of disappointment with his character was definitely at an all time high. Chief Irons shouldn’t have gotten as much screen time. Clair completely failed at carrying this movie as a main character. The director failed miserably at telling the story through her. Wesker was completely ignorant to the workings of umbrella which has got to big one of the biggest let downs of this movie. Also, Chris, Clair and the Birkins? Why? I don’t recommend this movie. Please save your money. God knows I should have. On a high note though, it was cool seeing the RPD, Emma’s diner, the orphanage, and the Spencer mansion.

This movie sucked. The comedy felt forced and a lot of it came at the wrong time. The big bad was literally a freaking StarFish. The only good plot point sadly had to do with a flash drive and how damaging the information on it could be to the United States if leaked. Harley Quinn is OP as usual but her acting was solid. Idris Elba was solid as well. John Cena surprised me with his take on Peacemaker. However, the only character I really connected with is Ratcatcher.
