The music, the love, the spirit, the encouragement between the different acts rather than devious sabotage. The music. The speorg note. The elves and finally Rachel McAdams' solid dramatic portrayal took a Will Ferrell film to a high level than his films ever achieve.

Twas my favorite of Wes' first three films, which were collaborations with Owen Wilson. So many characters were fleshed out with minimal screen time in a way that showed that Wes had become a master of his craft. From wardrobe to side comments to telling actions/choices made by the various characters, the film was a true gem.
