Holds up till this day. One of my top 5 cartoons.

I was about 5 when the first episode aired so I might be a little biased in my review as it was one of the shows that I grew up watching. I can only rate how my nieces have reacted to the show, they absolutely love it even in 2022. There seems to have been a boom of high quality cartoons from 1990-2010 and this was one of them. These new cartoons have something wrong with them, the graphics are going for some weird 3D look, it just doesn't look as nice. Also, these older shows hint more strongly towards morals than I think these new shows do in my opinion. These new ones feel like somebody making a cash grab product instead of giving thought to the characters.

I played the original Pokemon Yellow as a kid. Pokemon Let's Go is a faithful recreation which discards all the annoying things from the original and improves on many things. Catching Pokemon is much more fun, running into wild Pokemon is no longer annoying, and leveling up feels less like a chore. Graphics are great, now they just need to make an expanded game with this same formula which includes more regions.
