I enjoyed this movie, though I am not a great "scary movie" audience. The story was thin, but the acting was great. The special effects were awkward, but because the primary actors were so convincing, it worked. It WAS campy and fun enough that I will show it to my teen grandchildren - who watch WAY MORE SCARY films than I do, and have survived, but I think it is one we may all enjoy. PS How come NOBODY had a short wave radio out there "in nowhere"? I love driving in the desert areas of America, and know that at least one person living in those odd places, has a short wave radio.

I've now seen at least three versions of this movie. I love the story, and the movies, but Helen Hunt just isn't vicious enough - it doesn't matter, I'll watch her in anything. Fabulous actress. Maybe if I had not seen the first movie version, and then rewatched it, I would have a different opinion - it seemed more subtle. But DO watch it - all the actors are wonderful, scenery amazing, details wonderful.

Apparently you can't leave less than one star. This is disgusting. There is no point - there is barely a plot - Most of the movie is watching an extremely overweight woman trying to get out of jail, move through a doorway, etc. etc. There is no reward - though if they gave a million dollars to viewers who completed the task, I would not have been able to claim it. Junk

This is one of the funniest movies I have seen since It's A MadMadMadMad World And this is HIGH praise!! I am a movie fan, not a movie nut. I like good films, I LOVE Great Films, such as Remains of the Day, Giant, even, The End Game. This movie was SO FUNNY I COULDN'T LAUGH ENOUGH BECAUSE I HAD NO MORE AIR!!! I was actually in a sad mood when I flipped into it. Cured!

ELIZABETH WARREN YES YES YES THE ONLY ONE RUNNING WHO MAKES ANY SENSE AT ALL. THE ONLY ONE WHO APPARENTLY HAS COMMON SENSE AT ALL. BIDEN SHOULD BE HER VP IF SHE CAN STAND IT.
