Drawn out ending ruins the 4 stars..great till then.

The monster Gorgo destroys London to recover his kidnapped child..oops, that's another movie. 😂 Liam Neeson does just about the same damage to recover his kidnapped daughter in Paris. Yes, the famous Neeson phone message is here. 👍👍

It strives but falls short...The original movie with Gene Barry was better and scarier even with dated special effects. Watch that one.

Great...funny.. unique.. amazing struggle by the main characters to be the one to steal the show...won, in my opinion by Kevin Kline.. probably his best comedic performance ever.

Unfortunately, the best part of this movie is when Cleese calls Jamie Lee Curtis "Wanda" not "Wendy", her character's name in this movie. A bit unfair, but we were all searching as moviegoers for "The Fish Called Wanda" brilliance by this cast. We were disappointed. Still some good comedic moments.

In my opinion, one of Spielberg's best movies. A feeling of wonder grips you from the beginning to end. Serious wonder, not kid wonder as in E.T. I find it amazing how this movie still works without character development. The awe is enough. When Richard Dreyfuss ventures out into space on that alien mothership in that long final scene, you wish you can go too.

Frenetic, lacks character development, too long. My 10 year old granddaughter liked it till she dozed off. Downey Jr. will survive this mini disaster, after all he's Iron Man. 😂😂
