The main actress is insufferable. The acting is bad, the environmental preaching obnoxious, no redeeming qualities except for the location, beautiful New Zealand. The makers of this show seem to think that pretty equals good and saintly. Nauseating. I'm rooting for the bad guys

I really don't understand how people give such great reviews to this show. It builds and builds, with disappearances that don't seem possible to be the result of human action, then the ending is a huge letdown. I won't say more so that I won't spoil it for people who want to waste time watching it. Bad acting, slow, superfluous scenes, did I say slow? Also, stretching credibility quite a bit. Also, very hard to sympathize with characters. Extremely annoying.
