Have to say, this has been superb About time we had some proper telly as it’s all gone to shit in the last few years.

Excellent series, great acting, great direction and the right approach to DEI in period dramas. Well done

I liked some of this but very disappointed with the complete lack of character development and the lazy way the scenes just jumped into one another with no build up or explanation it was like the director was in a hurry! Average

Thought this was great, Tamsin Greig as Cecillia was the absolute star of the show.

I found the movie OK..............but certainly nothing special and the parents characters were a little farcical, but this is 2022 so nobody can be surprised that movies present life as having no scenarios other than those seen through the prism of race. There were certainly not manyy "laugh out loud" moments............Jonah Hill would do well to re visit and channel his "Inner Superbad" for his next project.

I despair at movies these days, I felt that I was watching something based in 2022 rather than 1938. No character development or nuance, elements which are so important when trying to tell a historical story where we all know the ending. I also noted the tiresome "jiggerywokery" that underlined some of the casting /scenes - You people are here to entertain us, just bloody stick to that! That said, it was watchable in parts and not an absolute disaster...........like 1917 it will definitely not be on my repeat watch list.

Visually it was great, however I thought it lacked character development and once again the miscasting of commonwealth extras was off putting. Saving Private Ryan it was not!

Watchable, but the modern woke undercurrent coupled with modern themes , language and box tick characters spoiled it for me. You feel you are in 2023 throughout rather than the 40’s. Also, not sure an American journalist would have lasted too long in Berlin making anti Nazi broadcasts……..ridiculous.

Truly dreadful TV . Within 5 minutes you realise that you are in 2023 and any sense of "period" is completely destroyed. Surely great actors such as Olivia Coleman had a sense of how terrible this tosh was when they saw the scripts. No doubt the viewing figures will fall of a cliff by the end of the series. Utter bilge.
