I first found out about this show when I was watching "Martha Speaks" on TV and after one of their episodes ("Nurse Martha/TD Gets The Scoop") ended, ELINOR WONDERS WHY shows up. I saw it and...OH MY GOD.
I FREAKIN LOVE THIS SHOW.
It's about this curious young bunny with a big personality and wanting to see the world, and learn from it with the help of her friends and family.
The animation is so unique and smooth, the stories were simple, but yet, so entertaining, and can we talk about those cool watercolor transitions? SO CLEVER!
And even Elinor, herself, she's the main event of the whole thing. Elinor is so relatable to me because, she's curious, fun, brave, super optimistic, and always loyal and clever. And the way I get into her is because, I am all those things myself.
This show heavily reminds me of "Calvin and Hobbes", because of its unique art-style, and the Netflix series, "Hilda", with a protagonist that has similar traits to Hilda, but without the intense supernatural scenes. And also Elinor reminds me of Luna Lovegood from "Harry Potter", because both have similar traits with them always being so curious and wanting to learn and have open minds.
I won't spoil anything for those that didn't see it yet, but, if you want to see a show with slice-of-life, adventure, and a little bit of comedy-drama, and of course education for your child, this show is a MUST WATCH.
