Look, I’m a huge Wes Anderson fan. But this movie was so bad that I felt like I should get a refund. The French Dispatch was uneven, with some segments excruciatingly dull and some very funny. Unfortunately, this movie just stayed excruciatingly dull. I can’t believe I’m saying that, because Moonrise Kingdom is one of my favorite movies of all time. But this one just missed the mark by a long shot. Not even close to being funny.
