Mari Selvaraj is a promising and very talented director and he deserves a National Award for this movie especially. Karnan talks about suppression and cruelty unleashed upon the people who are deprived of basic needs and amenities just because they raised the voice and questioned the injustice brought upon them. Sensational movie, no hype or propaganda just superior movie making. Dhanush has once again proved that he is a man of talent and brilliance. Vetrimaran success run continues and there is never a moment the that film goes pointless. This movie is a brutal, graphic and blood soaked but how will you make a raw revenge movie? For me,for this generation Vetrimaran is the only director who feeds the real movie audience with such good films. Keep going Vetri+Dhanush. Every character played by actors in this movie were at best especially Manju Warrier, whoa! what a debut in Tamil! Please welcome! The movie is technically sound with Cinematori Velraj just nailing it in low lighting scenes and stunt scenes with G.V. Prakash wrecking hell in the background score.
