As bittersweet as this ending is Jesse Ward is and will forever be one of the best characters I've ever had the pleasure of getting to know. This masterpiece journeys into Jesse unravelling into married life with Ava and the twists and turns that affect them from the moment they say I do. Since reading This Man Confessed there have been moments I've wondered what Jesse was thinking and going through from his pov and they were so deep and far beyond my imagination. There could never be enough words that can describe the kind of feelings the ending to this series invokes in a person. For me one that is at least a fraction close is JOYFUL. Jesse and Ava will forever be in my heart and soul.
