8/10 Pros: Looks great and runs buttery smooth, feels more like gears 1-3. Pretty deep campaign with a good story line. “Stfu Fahz”. New game modes. Cons: Needs some patching, sometimes you’ll find spots in the campaign you’ll fall into and have to restart to a checkpoint to get free. Horde feels and looks the same as 4. (New character perks but don’t feel relevant) Micro-transactions...and expensive ones at that. Cmon guys 👎🏻 Overall, after a quick patch this will be a near flawless game with new material but also has nostalgic moments from previous gears. Highly recommend
