Yes, I am a fan of Sagan's ever since I got Cosmos as a gift. Nonetheless, I am reading this book for the third time (first time, back in the 90'2; then, in 2010; now, in 2020), and I always find inspiration on it. The Baloney Detection Kit is great, but chapters like The Dragon in my Garage, or Maxwell and the Nerds make me think every time I read them. If you want to be a critical thinker, to be skeptical without loosing the sense of awe, read it, reread it, and ask yourself about the times you have behaved just like the book says. Enjoy.
