I agree with many of the 1-3 star reviews that call out the lackluster quality of data and analysis in this film. There are many half-facts that are cherry-picked and purposely framed to give you a negative feeling about renewables in a general way throughout the entire film. If you want to tell a story, like he does, that renewables aren’t doing the job- then you have to point out that the tech just isn’t there YET. Energy storage has a ways to go but it is being actively worked on by more than just the US. I could say more but I think you get the picture. Avoid this less-factual and fully-depressing film, unless you can or want to sift through the shortcomings to learn a bit about the different industries and how these products are made.
