This movie has so many layers. The character development is natural and transparent while the plot and underlying messages are complex and open to interpretation because even when you finish their is so much left unsaid even though there are countless clues that leave a viewer open to how they were impacted by the film. I believe it is a masterpiece and raised the bar for future cinema because I remember the Entertainment industry having so many films that were great like the Social Network and a long run from Pixar but I’ve yet to seen a film having a larger impact on me like La La Land. Its uniqueness is that the film is truly complete and does not need a sequel. But the impact it has brings more life into it and I think that’s what makes it a staple in cinema.
