Thanks to Rian Johnson, J. J. didnt have much to work with and quite a bit to fix. I can also accept that there was no way to please everyone with this film. That said, the story renders the original three beloved movies irrelevant. Rey is even more ridiculously overpowered cause... reasons. The other characters are just background. If you like Mary (Gary) Sue characters, deus ex machina, plot armor, and special effects, you might get something out of this movie. If you like good writing, good character development, and respect that which the saga was built upon. Yeah, skip this one.
