Exemplary portrayal of The Six Triple Eight Battalion. It’s appropriately displayed the complicated intersectionality of Race, Faith, and Gender in America. All actors and actresses did. STELLAR job. Important to notes, this is one of Tyler Perry’s BEST cinematic productions and WELL casted. Kerry Washington displayed leaders on ALL front and lead this cast and production to perfection. As a Black woman in leadership, I felt this movie deeply. I felt the sisterhood shown and encouragement from soldier to soldier. I’m encourage to do more research.
