Excellent. A realistic view of the extremely difficult task of escape, independence, work, food and shelter when you have one or more children, and usually not enough money. Its well acted, scripted and directed.

I love good quality movies. This film did exactly what I expected it to do for this type of action genre. The money was spent on SPECTACULAR stunts and extremely well mastered cgi. You can’t take your eyes off the film for one second or you will miss something. The cast were not required for Shakespearean roles, but the provided action skill and light hearted banter to alleviate the adrenaline stress. If you like big budget, action packed movies, with amazing stunts and effects, this is a 5*

I thought this fascinating series was absolutely excellent. Admittedly there are some cheesy moments, but what I like so much about it is, this film is pretty historically accurate. The general acting, including the “UK British Legion foreigners” is excellent. Manuelita (Shany Nagano) and Simon (Louis Geronimo Abreu especially. I thought the script was good too, depicting a variety of character types who appear to be universal. The war scenes were also represented reasonably well without the Hollywood budgets.
