I love the CGI and the casting, but the storyline is just dissapointing. it doesn't follow the original storyline and for a series, the episodes feel a little rushed. The watchers are given all the info about everything that has happened in the first episode, making it predictable. The whole point is to keep us watching, but they showed us how Aang ended up in the iceball from the start, making the main question (Where did Aang come from?) dissapear. Most will stop watching after that, since all the main question have already been answered. Netflix had the chance to be greater than the movie and I admit, it is an upgrade, but this is just sad. Most people have gone soft: socka isn't sexist and katara isn't easily maddened (which means that there is no good character development) They also left out the BEST JOKES in the animation.
