Tigers is a beautiful and moving film. The film may seem incomplete towards the end but that exactly is the beauty of the film and it's narration that makes you feel helpless and angry about the lack of empathy and answerability at so many levels. Emraan's performance is nuanced and hits just the right notes. In fact you root for him right from the opening shot where he is shown as a groom. His anger, his helplessness, and his inability to take immediate action are so genuine that you really want to see him win. A film like this deserves a theatre release, nonetheless kudos to Zee5 for premiering it. Brilliant work by the director Danis and great to see co-producers Guneet Monga and Anurag Kashyap's names in the end credits.

Watching something that brings a smile on your face, in these disturbing times, is all we need right now. This show does just that. It's romantic, well researched and very aesthetically made. The songs elevate the mood of the series and are the soul of the script. I've never seen something so deep into music on the Popular Indian TV scene, and trust me I watch almost all watchable Indian series. The characters are very well sketched out and each one has a place, backstory and relevance to the story. In the midst of all the crime dramas that are being made these days, this is such a breath of fresh air. Anand Tiwari and Amritpal Singh Bindra, take a bow! If there is an award for the best ensemble cast, this show would win it hands down!!
