Oh gawd where do I start! This is the worst movie I have ever seen, hands down. Alicia has aged well and looks great but her acting was atrocious! They must have found her “husband” from a list of cookie cutter Lifetime/Hallmark male lead actors that all have that same bland look and minimal acting skills. The first real problem with this movie is that there was zero chemistry between the lead characters, and both characters were so unlikeable that you pray for the shark to hurry up and kill them within minutes of the start of the movie. The writing of this movie, especially the dialogue, was terrible. Nothing made sense. When the storm hits, you see heavy winds and rain, windows breaking, etc…and hubby gets injured, then they are slowly drifting out to sea in their hut, but inexplicably the scenes there, it appears calm??? No rain coming through the broken windows, no wind howling, where did the storm go? 🤦‍♀️ Most couples would be terrified and be wide awake, trying to stay alive and get help. Not this couple, nope! They hunker down and take the first of numerous poorly timed naps! 😂 Later, they awaken in the morning in the middle of the ocean, with the hut still intact 🙄 I mean come on! This movie is an insult to our intelligence! And it only gets more ridiculous from there. At one point both are supposed to be floating in the ocean while propped up on the wood slab, but you can tell they are really standing in shallow water and leaning down over the wood slab, the director didn’t even have the sense to at least have them actually floating 🤦‍♀️ I mean I could go on and on! And the shark scenes literally had me 😂😂🤣 soooo ridiculous! And the ending is so bizarre but I won’t say anything about that. I actually recommend people to watch this just to see how awful and absurd it is!! 😂
