Loved it when it first aired, grew to love it even more in syndication. Wonderful mix of great writing, brilliant acting, second-to-none directing. 35 years later, still one of my favorites.

I wish I had this kind of truth when I was coming out in the 60s. A nice change of pace in this hate filled time. Enjoy everyone's acceptance, even the fear mongers who can't see 2 feet in front of them. I know, it's only make believe, but a fellow can dream, can't he?
