I had great hopes for this film after half an hour - good old fashioned story telling, great visuals, believable characters. After 45 minutes the dialogue was just about keeping the right side of the hammy / cliched / 70s hammer house of horror line. But after an hour until the end of the movie that battle was well and truly lost, with many of the audience descending into titters as moustachioed characters ran earnestly towards castles with flaming torches held aloft. The very ending was, however, well done I thought. Maybe it'll become a cult classic after a while.
