Love the Count Yorga movies. They're spooky and kind of grisly. The cast is great and Robert Quarry is a mysterious vampire and his vampire brides are frightening. Set in the 70's it has that raw intensity and its worth watching more than once. The ending is a real surprise 👀🧛‍♂️🧛‍♀️🧛‍♀️🧛‍♀️

Truly boring. I kept waiting for something interesting and it never happened. Jolie's big hats. The subdued "angst." Pitt's character was shallow and unbelievable. The scenery was lovely but could not distract from the awful script and acting. Don't bother. You won't even feel depressed. You'll ask yourself why you bothered watching...

Bland and forgettable compared to the original film with Geraldine Page. Smoky sets and white white white throughout to lend a feeling of innocence to the mostly female cast becomes irritating and unbelievable. Colin Farrell saves the film and makes it almost watchable. Kidman terribly miscast and seems to rely on the breathy unemotional characterizations she's played in the past to make this film forgettable. A great story and Coppola missed the point of it. A gritty nasty tale was sanitized and wasted the male lead's power. Watch if you must but if you don't you have not missed anything much. See the Clint Eastwood/Geraldine Page version. It's a horror film and an expose into the minds of lonely women competing for just a taste of the man they invited into their "home."
