beautifully crafted film. it makes you realize that by being vulnerable, you are allowing all of the dangers of the world to affect you. the duo between the actors make you feel something as you watch the movie. every cry that the girl makes makes you feel for her, this is the type of movie that makes you forget that what you’re watching isn’t real. security is something everybody craves in order to feel safe, but this movie shows that safety and security are not the same concepts. loving somebody makes you vulnerable and could blind you from what’s important, but this is commonly misinterpreted to be only found in romantic love. other forms of bonds are sometimes the focus that people need in order to keep on going in their lives. everybody has a major impact on somebody, whether they realize it or not, and this was beautiful portrayed throughout the film.

loved this movie. i genuinely got goosebumps when clay calloway came on stage when everyone thought he wasn’t coming. the fight seen between johnny and his dance instructor was phenomenal. loved hearing system of a down, aerosmith, coldplay, and U2 incorporated in the movie. the plot kept me on my toes. the relationship between moon and jimmy is a reflection of corporate america, and it inspires what one might consider “ordinary” to become “extraordinary”. truly a beautiful movie
