Watched this film on prime video about 2 hours ago . I read a few of these reviews prior to watching ‘old’ and I was really optimistic and excited to watch it . But it didn’t meet my expectations. First of all, the overall idea for the film is absolutely brilliant ! Stuck on an island where you age extremely quickly ! It sounds amazing . But alas , they didn’t make it as great as they should of . The actress who played the mother (Prisca Cappa) did a horrible job at portraying her. I don’t mean to be harsh but she really just moaned and groaned the whole way through , and never really had a good scene in the whole 1 hour 45 minutes that she could have done something . The other actors were not much better than Vicky . Rufus Sewell , who portrayed Charles , did an amazing job . I love the madness at the end where he is slicing Guy and the screen is blurry so you can’t quite see what’s happening , it’s pure genius ! In the scene where Chrystal (Abby lee ) is falling apart, I felt like I was with her , like I was her. .Props to all the actors . This is getting long now, so I’m afraid I’ll have to let it go .
