I couldn't believe when I saw this movie classified as a comedy. There is *nothing* funny in this movie, or clever, or witty, or amusing, or anything remotely resembling humor. All the characters (I'm not exaggerating -- ALL of them) are unlikeable and thoroughly unpleasant on some level. Did I mention they are not funny in any way whatsoever? Overall it's a bleak look at a period of history where powerful women show that they can be just as despicable and awful as powerful men. I would have left after an hour if I'd been alone. It was a struggle to stay to the end.
