The author is overly hyperbolic and cliche throughout the book. I can see how he tries to use these stories to connect with his audience, but I found the constant exaggeration to be tiring and distracting. In this way, the author’s prose often feels juvenile, which is surprising coming from someone who touts multiple PhDs.
