It's hard to understand why Naomie wasn't charged with aiding and abetting Warren Jeffs as he was running from the law. These individuals are raised in a culture where women are not valued, only to serve the men to reach a higher level in the 'church'. Religious sects are hardcore, and the church members are convinced they are doing the work of the Lord. That's not the God I know.
It's hard to watch this story unfold as an outsider to the life of the FDLS. Their speech pattern is really odd (cars is carsh), and the facial expressions of the narrator are difficult to stomach.
