I've never tried so hard to like or understand a show as much as 1899. I found it to be the most confusing train wreck! Every time I thought I might be almost figuring something out, more weirdness was thrown into the mix. I gave up after 5.5 episodes and went ahead and read about the "explained ending" and what actually transpired.. I am even more confused reading it than watching it. I feel like I wasted 5.5 hours of my life. Zero stars would be a more honest review.
