Easily my favourite video game of all time, and it quickly dethroned FFX for that title. Simplistic design with the side scrolling dungeon crawler design, yet complicated and challenging enough to have me coming back time and time again. The sequel; Salt and Sacrifice however, was a far cry from a decent homage to the original. They edged us with a long awaited release, then dropped the ball completely. With that being said, the sequel doesn’t take away from the original. So it’s still 5 stars from me. Bravo.
