Trying to re-invent the wheel. Changing two iconic characters' race for the purpose of...? I don't know. Why not keep the characters as they have been and which have made them enduring cultural icons for decades and just create NEW characters with their own story to add to the mix? It's amazing the showrunners get paid and still can't come up with anything original on their own. Shaggy and Velma look like they came off a bootleg t-shirt you'd find at a second-rate flea market. It just looks like the people behind this show have little to no respect for the Scooby-Doo legacy and think they can just do whatever. This is a concept that can work, but not like this.
