I think I’ve read this 5 times in 5 months. Every time I pick up something new that sticks with me for a few days, and really manifests some new thoughts, behaviours and (hopefully) habits.
I’ve gone from a participant in life’s drama to a calm observer, which while less exciting and ‘dramatic’, is a much calmer, confident, self assured place to be. I end up making decisions with more clarity, and probably most beneficially- I am kinder and more compassionate with myself and my behaviours; simply because I understand myself a bit better.
While this is not the sole book I’ve been reading in order for better self understanding, this was the first book I picked up and is always the one I go back to. It’s so easy to understand and accessible.
