An interesting and quite unique story. The pride and passion for their land is palpable. Nothing really has changed. Land developers want to “ develop “ and “ improve “ everyones lives. Our communities are being decimated and it is clear that we are starting to live in virtual reality- no personal communication. I am very wary of AI and future emotionless scenarios. My reading group were intrigued by the Māori translation and interpretation and the reference to the stories and culture.
