Who is this movie for, like what is the target audience? Women who were 13 in 2002? Girls who are about to get their period? Such a strange and very specifically targeted movie - definitely not family friendly. Update: moving this from one star to three...after the period/puberty conversations end, it's a movie about a girl wanting to break away from her mother/family traditions done in a unique and entertaining way.
