Kiswana Parris

I really want to love Ahsoka but so far I feel like they have done Rosario Dawson dirty with this show, and I already don’t know if I can continue watching. Dawson is incredible (and looks it too!) but the majority of the cast are terrible actors, and the plot only progresses by these characters (who are supposed to be amazing people) making THE EXACT SAME MISTAKES over and over. And over. Any viewer can see how these mistakes will play out, as they are very basic scenarios, yet somehow these “incredibly intelligent” characters can’t see until it’s too late. Then they “learn and grow” until they do it again. I also feel like you can tell the writers are male. There’s nothing wrong with male writers of course, but it shows in the lame stereotypical ways they try to make the female characters “rebellious.” I’m sorry but no one actually acts like that. It’s giving me “John Green writing cool teenage female characters.” Like have you met a woman in your life?! It got annoying fast. I’d rather watch the Mandalorian series a fourth time at this point.
