[Ep 1 review] Very much in the spirit of the original Tinker Taylor or Smiley's People, this production is unusual these days in taking its time over the narrative, and relying on personal interactions instead of "action' sequences... With a wonderful cast, and despite being shot in gloomy brown Scandi-noir-vision, it draws you in wonderfully.
I wonder how people who.know nothing of the original story will respond -- you've got to concentrate on all the dialogue! -- but I loved it.
